ORCHARD LAKE, MI - The Polish Mission of Orchard Lake Schools, in cooperation with the Chopin Foundation of the United States, cordially invites you to a performance by world-renowned concert pianist and winner of 2010 National Chopin Piano Competition- Claire Huangci.


The Chopin Evening Gala will take place Saturday, August 21 at 5 p.m. in the Shrine Chapel located at 3535 Indian Trail, Orchard Lake, Michigan (on the campus of Orchard Lake Schools).


Tickets are $30 and include a wine and dessert reception following the recital, as well as an outdoor art exhibit featuring the sculptures of prominent Polish artist Jan Siuta.  A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Flood Relief Effort in Poland organized by Caritas Krakow under the supervision of Stanislaw Cardinal Dziwisz.

They died in a rush to pay honor to those who lost their lives in Katyń.  President Kaczyński, his wife the First Lady of Poland, Members of Parliament, Military Officials, Clergy; brilliant people, all daughters and sons of the Polish nation now passed onto eternal guard.  We Poles living outside our motherland are immersed in deep mourning together with the entire nation.
