Having formally agreed a month earlier, the Polish government-in-exile and Canada established The Polish Armed Forces Military Mission to recruit North American volunteers of Polish descent by opening an office in Windsor in May of 1941. PARI has in its private collection records of over 1,200 of these male recruits who stepped up to serve.  READ  MORE
