There's been a lot going on upstairs in the Ark building lately.  Just recently, Polish Mission volunteers finally embarked on the much-anticipated artifact cataloging program!  Lots of white gloves, three powerful cameras, and a steady supply of coffee allowed volunteers JJ, Tiffany, and Matt to painstakingly photograph nearly every item on display in the Home Army museum for identification and cataloging.

Holy Mass, festivals, patriotic assemblies, lectures and symposia were just some of the ways that I observed Poland's  national holiday of the May 3^rd Constitution Day while being a master's student of the Jagiellonian University of Krakow. Why should a fifth generation Polish-American, such as myself, even bother to honor an event that happened over two hundred years ago in what seems for most to be a far-off and distant land? Today, 125 years later, we have the opportunity to experience and celebrate how Fr. Dabrowski's dream has unfolded and been realized.  Since 1885, over 3,000 priests have been educated and formed through the combined programs of Sts. Cyril & Methodius Seminary, St. Mary's College and St. Mary's Preparatory.

Polonica Americana Research Institute (PARI) is a new department of The Polish Mission. This institute is a research facility using the rich resources of the Central Archives of Orchard Lake, and will soon be offer workshops, lectures, and seminars. The programs will be of interest to families interested in Polish heritage and genealogy. PARI will feature databases and host webinars for researchers who cannot visit the campus.
