Your invitation to NYC with The Polish Mission and the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum

Have you heard that we’re in Manhattan?  For the next couple weeks at least!  The Forbidden Art exhibition and educational program has reached the east coast, and we couldn’t be happier about it.  Are you coming?

On behalf of the Chancellor-Rector of the Orchard Lake Schools Msgr. Tom Machalski, Vice Chancellor Anthony Koterba, Polish Mission Chairman Dr. Stan Majewski, The Edward and Josephine Wikiera Foundation, the Friends of Auschwitz-Birkenau Foundation, and Park East Synagogue, we have the distinct honor and pleasure of inviting all of our friends and supporters to New York City, for the celebrated showing of the Forbidden Art exhibition, at Park East Synagogue in NYC.  Forbidden Art is the twenty-panel traveling exhibition created by the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum (A-BSM), and as our exclusive partnership continues on, Manhattan is the most recent addition to our list of cities visited, which includes Orchard Lake, Detroit, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. 

The exhibition is on display now until November 15.  Here are the hours:
 
November 8: 10 am – 12 pm
November 9-11: 10 am – 4 pm
November 12: 10 am – 9 pm
November 13: 10 am – 7:30 pm
November 14: 10 am – 4 pm
November 15: 10 am – 12 pm

This one-of-a-kind educational program has been endorsed by President Obama, Vice President Biden, The Polish Ambassador Dr. Ryszard Schnepf and Diplomatic corps, the Consulate of the Israel to the Midwest in Chicago, and members of the US Congress. 
 
A-BSM Director Dr. Piotr Cywiński will be in attendance for a gala evening event on November 12, with guests of honor Ambassador Dr. Ryszard Schnepf, Consul-General of Israel in New York Ido Aharoni, Consul General of Poland in New York Ewa Junczyk-Ziomacka, and Mr. Martin Karlinsky of the Friends of Auschwitz-Birkenau Foundation.
