The terror of the Second World War obliterated humanity, but some were brave enough to combat evil with love and fellowship. Experience how the people of Poland risked everything to rescue their Jewish neighbors from unfathomable hatred and certain death. Named 2016 European Museum of the Year, the POLIN Museum in Warsaw presents new research that stimulates and challenges our understanding of Polish-Jewish relations. Join us at the Isaac Agree Downtown Synagogue on August 24 at 5:30 pm for a special viewing of the moving exhibition They Risked Their Lives, featuring a panel discussion at 6:30 pm. The event is free and open to all, and free-will donations will be accepted.
